Mondays: Contemporary w/ Brieze

“I approach teaching class from a place of accessibility, by offering descriptors and tips in ways that are affirming of a range of technical capabilities and learning styles. I want people who come to my class to feel the joy I have for dance and teaching, and leave with an openness to how transformative dance can be. I want people to leave feeling accomplished; knowing we can do hard things; and excited about contemporary dance styles. I strive for my classes to be a balance between challenge and comfort, and that class can be a space to learn, zone out, be comfortable, be pushed, or all of the above.”

Mondays: Int/Adv Hiphop w/ Tobias

“I believe dance education is a powerful tool for personal expression, discipline, and community building. I see dance not only as a physical practice but also as a form of communication that allows students to discover their voices, tell stories, and connect with others.”

Mondays: move ya body pilates w/ ceylon

“We will incorporate the basic foundations of Mat Pilates, while combining dance conditioning techniques. In honor of the revered Pilates instructor, Kathleen Stanford Grant, Ceylon aims to create a safe space for POC to explore the mind-body connections to the pilates form, while finding new ways to care for themselves.”

Mondays: AFro-carribean with celine

This high-intensity cardio dance class invites movers, beginners and intermediate alike, to become masters of their own bodies. Pulling from a range of dance styles rooted in the African Diaspora, dancers of all ages move to a groovy, funky playlist that leans into the polyrhythmic nature of the movement itself. The vibe: unique, fun, and upbeat.

tuesdays: Ballet barre w/ kendra

Come get long and limber with Kendra at Ballet Barre! This all-levels class will focus on alignment, technique, strengthening and lengthening from a "classical", but functional perspective. We will use the barre as a supportive element for brain-teaser combinations, brave balance-taking, and deep, dynamic stretching. In this class, even pliés and tendus are a show! Kendra teaches from an energetic viewpoint, never a physical one, often emphasizing the drama of the movement to get her students reaching and performing. Whether you're brand new to ballet or a seasoned student looking for a technical brush up - this class is for you!

TUESDAYS: ballet w/ catherine

“I’m an educator with almost 20 years experience in teaching dance. I have a “hands-on” and“how to” approach. I talk a lot and we review ballet terminology, class etiquette and technique in every class.

My class is beginner friendly, as well as challenging for advanced dancers. My teaching style is rooted in body awareness & anatomy, self-confidence, respect, dance rigor and community. The more a person understands their bodies and how they feel moving through space, the more likely they are to develop a deeper awareness in other parts of their life.

It is my belief that body awareness is the spring board to self-confidence and discernment.”

wednesdays: Choreo 101 w/ mackenzie

“I approach my class with a simple philosophy, everybody can enjoy dance.”

Choreo 101 is the evolution of Hip Hop 4 Everybody — the approach hasn't changed, just the playlist! The same open level format, the same welcoming space, the same two-week structure that gives every person time to feel successful. What's new is the music: we're expanding into R&B, Afrobeat, and House alongside Hip Hop, opening up more sounds to move to while keeping everything that made the original class work. This is a space for movers and dancers who want to build community, feel comfortable in their movement, and challenge themselves through different choreography — whether you're brand new to dance or deepening your practice.
